Peer Review Process

The International Journal of Psychiatry Research & Reiews  (IJPRR) follows a rigorous and transparent peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and integrity of all published research. The journal adopts a double-blind peer review system, where both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous.

Review Process

The review process involves the following steps:

1. Manuscript Submission
Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal submission system or via email. All submissions must comply with the journal’s guidelines.

2. Initial Editorial Screening
The editorial team evaluates the manuscript for:

• Scope and relevance to the journal
• Basic quality and structure
• Compliance with ethical standards

Manuscripts that do not meet the requirements may be rejected at this stage.

3. Assignment to Reviewers
Eligible manuscripts are assigned to two or more independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.

4. Peer Review Evaluation
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:

• Originality and significance
• Methodological rigor
• Clarity and presentation
• Validity of results and conclusions

Reviewers provide detailed comments and recommendations.

5. Editorial Decision
Based on reviewers’ feedback, the Editor-in-Chief makes one of the following decisions:

• Accept
• Minor Revision
• Major Revision
• Reject

6. Revision by Authors
Authors are required to revise the manuscript according to reviewers’ comments and resubmit within the specified time.

7. Final Review and Acceptance
The revised manuscript may be sent for further review. Once approved, it is accepted for publication.

8. Copyediting and Publication
Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, formatting, and final proofreading before being published online.

Review Timeline

• Initial screening: 3–5 days
• Peer review: 2–4 weeks
• Final decision: 4–6 weeks (approximate)

Ethical Standards

• The journal ensures confidentiality throughout the review process
• Reviewers must provide unbiased and constructive feedback
• Any conflicts of interest must be disclosed
